Going Green to do Good

We are all guilty of mindlessly spring cleaning. Whether its chucking out clothes, food or even furniture. Its no surprise that through this wastefulness our landfills are overfull.
But how can you combat unnecessary waste and reduce your environmental footprint when undertaking a full refurbishment?
To answer this question was the goal of de Fiddes Design in collaboration with RAAFA Meadow Springs, during the refurbishment at Middleton Hall.

What's new at DFD!?

Travel seems to feature highly in this month’s newsletter.  Samantha is off in September to present The E’s in Research – Expertise and E-Delphi at the Aging and Social Change 9th Conference in Vienna. Needless to say we are all volunteering to carry her luggage!  So good luck Sam and stay tuned for an update for when she gets back.

A Social Responsibility

Surely 450 Scientists cannot be wrong!  This month we are talking about sustainability. 

The latest UN report that was released last week revealed that 1 million species are at risk because of a range of human activities.  I don’t know about you but I find this incredibly troubling and we should all be outraged.
