Deb Talks ’An Interview with Kirsty Bennett'

This month we sat down with Kirsty Bennett co-author of the recently published Alzheimer’s Disease International World Report 2020 on the Built Environment ‘Design, Dignity, Dementia: Dementia related design and the built environment’.

Kirsty is an experienced Architect, Co-Founder of Evoke Australasia and recently appointed design associate in the Dementia Services Development Centre at the University of Scotland. The report (a must read!) was awarded the inaugural ‘Outstanding Contribution to Global Knowledge, prize at the 2021 European Healthcare Design Congress.

We were thrilled to spend time with Kirsty to discuss the report highlights, diving into the finer details including key design principles and a follow-on manifesto! We encourage you to have a listen and reach out to us with additional queries and we will endeavour to answer them within our part two conversation with Kirsty later this year.

You can listen to the full conversation above or at this link.
