The Human Library

Have you heard of the Human Library!?

The movement and now international organisation first started in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 2000. Using a library analogy of lending people rather than books, the movement aims to address prejudices by helping people talk to others they would not normally meet.

Additionally, the initiative promotes dialogue, breaks stereotypes and promotes understanding between people of different ages, sex, lifestyles and cultural background.

A terrific initiative we would love to see in many settings!
