Starting Over & Supporting Others

After what can only be described as a tumultuous year we wanted to say thank you for supporting us in 2020.

Our hope over the years is that Inkind has become a platform for sharing information and resources and an inspiration to all in senior and disability living environments. We were thrilled to hear from a resident based in a QLD care facility who had sought additional advice from our Clinical Director, Dr Samantha Neylon after reading our feature article on acoustic design in aged care. This is one of the many ways de Fiddes strive to share the knowledge of enabling environments in practical and meaningful ways to improve outcomes for everyone involved.

Whilst on the topic of supporting others, we were excited to see the newly released Village trailer which tells the story of Korongee through the eyes of the people who live and work in the village.

With a revolutionary design in dementia care and a first in Australia, Korongee is embracing the identities of their residents and will provide a home like environment supporting those with dementia and their families.

It is a very exciting project we are looking forward to hearing more about in 2021.
