Where do Aged Care Designers get Inspiration?
We are back in the office! Things are the same, but different! Elbow bumps are common, as is hand sanitiser.
The new normal has seen our practice change and adapt - from video fit-outs (one designer here in Perth, while another on the phone in Melbourne) to sourcing more local manufactured products. (Shout out to one of our favourite Osborne Park, Perth aged care furniture designers, Torrance and McKenna)
After taking a small break to refocus and reflect, we know the health and well-being of our entire de Fiddes family, colleagues and friends is central to us. Always seeking to improve and enhance quality of life is one of our core values. So this month, while we were thinking about what aged care designers do for inspiration, it only made sense!
We are our own inspiration!
We draw strength from each other and now truly understand how much we cherish this amazing team! Help keeping each other happy and having fun is more important than ever!
So this month we have made a list of the things we missed and what we have enjoyed all the most about being back together, read our answers below:
Kat: I did miss having a good laugh and generally the dynamic of team spirit which was hard to conjure up with zoom meetings!!!
Vanessa: I missed the chat, the laughing and the fashion co-ordination coincidences!! I didn’t miss the crazy air con!
Mollie: Cheeky Friday drinks with Deb, Beau the work Doggo and being surrounded by creative minds!
Christine: I missed the team-working and the laughs =P
How have you adapted to this new normal? Let us know!
