New Project Regis Sturdee Wing & News from the Team

It’s always exciting when a project wraps up and we get the first images sent through. With Regis Aged Care the facelift to the Sturdee wing in the old building at their Burnside facility has been nothing short of incredible! New finishes, joinery, window treatments, artwork and wayfinding have given the space a fresh new life. The 14 bed wing accommodates dementia residents and being an old building it had a number of challenges.  The result is a home that now has distinct wayfinding features to assist residents, opening up garden spaces to give residents choice, additional small craft/laundry room that enters to an outdoor courtyard with a clothesline to encourage normal activities such as doing the laundry.  Refurbishments are always the most challenging but also the most satisfying.  We worked with Gary Batt Associates Architects on this project and we cannot wait more photos and for residents to move in at the end of October.

In DFD news, some of the team got together for a delicious pizza and wine night at Zuccaro Trattoria Pizza Bar. Deb took some time off and enjoyed her Bali Vacation. Vanessa is being a busy bee with home opens to sell her house, (we were very lucky when she brought her not-so-tiny Dog, Otis into the office for the day.) Kat sent us more images of her living the good life in Scotland. All this while Beau the Dog slacked off in bed!
