A Dining Experience with a Difference

With aged care dining often expressed as bland, boring or tasteless we were thrilled to come across an article introducing Baptistcare’s radical new approach to cooking for people in residential care.

Serving a sensational menu along with an introduction of a hotel-style breakfast buffet, Baptistcare's Executive Chef Tood Cheavins, who has worked in luxury hotels around the world and cooked for celebrities including Oprah, Pink and the King of Malaysia, is keen to shake up the aged care dining experience. The food is exciting, colourful and flavourful with pureed foods transformed with vegetables now roasted, seasoned, blended with cream and presented in appetising swirls.

With positive feedback from residents left, right and centre this is sure to be an encouraging new initiative which we hope many other facilities will follow.

Congratulations Baptistcare on this exciting new food journey!
