An Inspirational Way to Include Residents
Welcome to our last newsletter of 2021!
What a year it has been, the world keeps changing and we need to change with it. Looking after each other and the planet has never been more important, and so as our final newsletter this year we would like to talk a little about inclusivity.
Inclusivity can look like many things. Such as this competition, which asked aged care residents from VIC, QLD and NSW to submit an original painting, sketch, watercolour, photo or craft so the aged care provider could feature the design on their end of year greeting card range. We were delighted by the drawing of one of the winners - Pamela Walsh and her Kookaburra in the Christmas hat!
What a lovely way to include residents as a part of the organisation, in a meaningful and impactful way. See more of the winners below.
